Predator Free 2050
Predator free 2050 – absolutely! We need to hold the line until technology catches up and we have tools to deal with the predators who are killing our precious taonga. The project undertakes a suite of predator control which provides protection for kiwi, other native species and the habitat. This includes 1,300 traps for stoat control, 1,000 bait stations for rat control, 570 A24 resetting rat traps, 270 A12 resetting traps for possum control and we undertake feral goat control.
